Docter / Noblex footprint

The Docter or Noblex footprint is shared across a group of budget and mid-range dots: the classic open-emitter Vortex Venom and Viper, the Burris FastFire and the Meopta line all use it, so a base cut for one usually takes the others.

Check the generation before buying a plate. The older open-emitter Venom uses this Docter cut, but the newer enclosed Venom uses the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro footprint instead.

It is not the RMR pattern. A Docter-footprint dot will not sit on an RMR-cut slide, and an RMR will not sit on a Docter base. Use a Docter-pattern plate or Picatinny mount to fit any of the sights in this family.
