The Shield RMSc is the common micro footprint for thin carry pistols. It is smaller than the RMR pattern and is shared by the Holosun K-series dots and several other micro optics.
An RMSc optic will not sit on an RMR slide cut and an RMR will not sit on an RMSc cut. The two are different sizes, so a plate or the correct slide cut is required to change between them.
Confirm the slide is cut RMSc, or use an RMSc adapter plate, before fitting a K-series dot.
