Scope Mount Finder

About Scope Mount Finder

Which mount and rings fit your optic on your rail

A scope, red dot or magnifier only bolts to a rifle or airsoft replica through a mount, and mounts are not interchangeable. A ring has to match the scope tube to the millimetre, a red dot only drops onto a plate cut for its own footprint, and a Picatinny accessory does not always seat on a Weaver or an 11 mm dovetail. Pick your rail, your tube diameter or your red-dot footprint and get the published dimensions, the ring height that clears your objective, and the exact mount, rings or adapter plate to buy.

Dimensions are compiled from the MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) rail standard, published Weaver and dovetail rail data, and manufacturer specification and catalogue pages from UTG/Leapers, Vortex, Burris, Warne, Talley, American Defense Manufacturing, Aero Precision, Aimpoint, Holosun, Trijicon and Leupold, plus red-dot footprint compatibility charts, each cited on the page where its data is used.

Rail, slot, tube and footprint dimensions are quoted from published standards and manufacturer data, cited on each page. Measure your own rail and tube before buying. An 11 mm airgun dovetail can measure anywhere from 11 to 13 mm between makers, a cheap airsoft rail can sit out of Picatinny spec, and two red dots that look identical can be cut for different footprints. This site covers mounting accessories only. It does not sell or link to firearms, air weapons or ammunition.
