Does not interchange
The ACRO footprint is a closed-body pattern: the sight clamps to an ACRO plate rather than screwing down over two posts like an RMR. Aimpoint ACRO and the Steiner MPS share it.
It is not interchangeable with the open RMR cut. An ACRO plate takes an ACRO or MPS sight only, and an RMR will not sit on it.
Pistols cut for ACRO, or a Picatinny ACRO mount, are the way onto this footprint.
