Fit a Trijicon RMR on a Shield RMSc slide cut
Why an RMR does not fit an RMSc cut and what to do instead.
Will not fitA Trijicon RMR will not fit a Shield RMSc slide cut. The RMR is a larger footprint, so it does not share the RMSc pattern. Use an RMSc dot or an RMR-cut slide or plate.

The RMR and the RMSc are two different footprints. The RMR is a full-size cut with two screws and two front posts, the RMSc is a smaller micro cut for thin carry slides. One does not sit on the other.
To keep an RMR, use a slide or plate cut for the RMR. To use the RMSc cut you have, fit an RMSc-footprint micro dot such as a Holosun K-series.
