The Vortex Venom and Viper, the Burris FastFire and the Meopta dots share the Docter or Noblex footprint, which is not the RMR pattern. A Docter dot will not screw directly to an RMR cut.
Use an adapter plate that presents a Docter footprint on an RMR base, checking the added height suits the slide, or fit an RMR-footprint dot to keep the RMR cut.
