Fit an Aimpoint ACRO on an RMR slide cut
Why an ACRO does not fit an RMR cut and what plate it needs.
Will not fitAn Aimpoint ACRO will not fit an RMR slide cut. The ACRO clamps to a closed ACRO plate, a different interface from the open RMR pattern. Use an ACRO-cut slide or plate.

The ACRO footprint is a closed body that clamps to an ACRO plate, unlike the RMR which screws down over two posts. The two do not interchange, so an ACRO will not sit on an RMR cut.
Fit an ACRO adapter plate or a slide cut for ACRO. The Steiner MPS shares the ACRO plate, so the same plate takes either sight.
