A 30 mm scope takes 30 mm rings. On a bolt gun with the rail over the action, two-piece rings work. On an AR-15 the receiver rail is short, so a one-piece cantilever mount sets the rings forward for eye relief.
Match ring height to the objective, and on an LPVO pick the cantilever height by the posture and cowitness you want.
